Smokehouse
Lightning was formed in 2006 has come a long way since its
humble beginnings and has grown in popularity over the
past few years. The band has had the honor of opening for
national acts such as, The Chris Beard Band, Joan Jett, Chicago and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
2010 is shaping
up to be very eventful…60+gigs, featured dates at New Hampshire Bike
Week and performing at the
Blues & Brew Festival.
At the core of
Smokehouse Lightning sound is guitarist & vocalist Ryan Kelly.
Ryan takes his influences of blues and rock to create a sound
that respects the tradition of blues but also pushes it to its
rock boundaries. His talent and feel for the music is well
beyond his years.
The Smokehouse Lightning set list is filled with upbeat,
entertaining and danceable mix of Blues, Swing, Boogie, and
Classic & Southern Rock. The bands dynamics and nucleus makes
for an outstanding blend of music and sound.
